Today, our school counselors took interested Juniors and Seniors to the Wheeling Chambers of Commerce College and Career Fair. They took advantage of learning about what's out there after graduation. Parents - make sure you are connected to Schoology to be aware of the different opportunities offered to our students.

Wheeling Park High School kicked off its 5th year of Beyond Education today. The program, started by Assistant Superintendent, Rick Jones, works to expose students, particularly minority students, to a career in education.
In the kickoff event, students heard from Ritchie Elementary Principal, John Jorden, Wheeling Park High School School Counselor, Betsy Jones, and Madison Elementary Principal, Andrea Trio. All shared their path to education, their passion for the profession and the growing need for teachers and counselors in West Virginia. West Liberty's Sarah Schimmel also shared details on the dual-credit Grow Your Own partnership between West Liberty and Wheeling Park High School. #experienceTHEPARK #wearePARK #TogetherWeAchieve

Wheeling Park High School students met today with OCS Superintendent, Dr. Miller, and Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Rick Jones for the Superintendent's Forum.
The conversation covered everything from the national teacher shortage to safety concerns to supporting student mental health.
